Mid Atlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (MAAETC)
The Johns Hopkins University MAAETC Regional Partner provides HIV/AIDS education, consultation, technical assistance, coaching, capacity building, self-study, and resource materials to health care professionals throughout the mid-Atlantic region. In particular, we service Western Maryland, the Eastern Shore, Baltimore City, and Surrounding Counties. The local Regional Coordinator is Dorcas Baker, RN, BSN, ACRN, MA.
The Center for AIDS Research (CFAR)

CFAR and the MAAETC Regional Partner collaborate to provide clinicians and investigators with information on current research, topics of interest, clinical updates and case presentations at the weekly HIV Providers Meeting. The meeting, every Friday, 12 PM-1 PM, takes place on the East Baltimore Campus, in Rangos 590. CFAR Annual Meeting

HIV-ASSIST
HIV Antiretroviral Selection Support and Interactive Search Tool (HIV-ASSIST) is a web-based platform invented by Maunank Shah, MD, PhD to assist and educate clinicians in personalizing antiretroviral (ARV) regimens for their patients using evidence-based decision-making tools. The program offers a variety of education resources, including a decision support tool, information sheets, dosing information, drug interactions, and OI prophylaxis guidance. STD/HIV Prevention Training Center at Johns Hopkins
The STD/HIV Prevention Training Center at Johns Hopkins offers affordable clinical training for healthcare providers in the public and private sectors who offer sexual and reproductive health services.
We offer a variety of courses, including STI Training, Brightfield Microscopy, a Three-Day STI Overview class (for other healthcare professionals), and Patient Exam classes. These classes are offered to providers seeing patients in the District of Columbia and the states of Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The PTC also brings training and technical support to health care and other providers serving citizens in the cities of Baltimore and Philadelphia and the states listed above.
